This plug-n-play temperature and humidity controller can be used for sausage curing, green houses, incubator and other similar applications.
It can control both temperature (heating or cooling) and humidity (humidifying or dehumidifying) at the same time. It can display the temperature unit in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. You only need to plug in the power cord plugs from your heater/cooler and/or humidifier/dehumidifier directly to the outlets on the controller. The controller has a two-line LED display, two output sockets, one sensor module and one input power cord. The top display shows the measured temperature value and the bottom display shows the measured humidity value. The left output socket is for heating/cooling devices, and the right output socket is for a humidifier/dehumidifier. The sensor module contains both temperature and humidity sensors. If you need to control both humidifier and dehumidifier at same time, you can either use HD220 dual-channel humidity controller, or use two sets of TH230A (see bundle set here). If you need to control both heater and cooler at same time, you can either use TD120 dual-channel temperature controller, or use two sets of TH230A (see bundle set here).
This new controller is equipped with one of the most robust Humidity Sensor on the market, and it can be used in high relative humidity (>85%) and condensing environments, which are among the most challenging conditions for humidity controllers. For example, when controlling the humidity of a curing fridge at temperatures below the dew point of the ambient environment, opening the fridge door will cause water to condense on the sensor. When controlling the humidity at a humidity level that is close to 100%, slight temperature drop may also cause condensation on the sensor. Condensed water on the sensor can lead to unstable readings on most humidity sensors, including the one used in our TH102. It can also damage the sensor.
Default sensor cable is 6 ft (2 m). 20 ft (6 m) cable option is also available.
Exclusive features:
New humidity control parameters are introduced to limit the humidity output. In situations such as controlling curing chamber, there is usually a large decrease in the relative humidity whenever the compressor is working, or large increase when user opens the door of chamber. Typically, humidity controller will kick in the humidity output immediately, which will create a big reading swing. By those new parameters, TH230A users are able to turn off or delay the humidity output to reduce this reading swing.
