There is strength in unity. Our goal is to encourage formation of cooperatives and association of farmers in both poultry and fish farming business. The industry needs the strength to influence what is affecting our industry. The industry also needs to encourage and attract younger people in the production, distribution, marketing and further processing.

There are tremendous opportunity if we find ways to work together to create better opportunity for our people and at the same token making profit and growing our business.

We will encourage you to join with other poultry producer in your neighborhood and send information to us. We will also have a forum here to help you announce your meetings by email, telephone etc. Encourage your member to fill out the form.

Other countries are out producing and under pricing locally produced product. Do you ever think of reasons why we are not competitive despite the fact that importation requires shipping cost o Nigeria and distribution within Nigeria and sellers are still making profit?

The situation where imported product is cheaper than locally produced is appalling to me when we claim that 80% of our population is involved in agricultural production. We can work around this and become a powerhouse to produce enough for Nigeria with the potential to export to our neighbors or around the world.
